Our Mission is simple: to ensure that the words "Freedom Is Not Free" are not seen as a hollow slogan that is easily forgotten, but rather that these words become indelibly imprinted on every American's heart and that the wonderful and terrible truth that they embody - that the cost of our freedom is the blood of our sons and daughters - is never forgotten.

The Armed Forces Memorial Tribute Flag:

• Acts as a permanent tribute and visible memorial to all members of America's military forces - past, present and future - who have given or who will give their lives in service to our nation.
  
  
• Raises awareness of the commitment and sacrifices made by active duty military personnel who willingly leave home and family to serve in our armed forces to protect America, her citizens and the citizens of the world.
  
  
• Ensures that we never forget or take for granted the sacrifice of our war dead or the dedication of our active military personnel that is made on our behalf, and that this awareness is passed on from generation to generation as part of our national legacy.
